Brinkworth Brook

Brinkworth Brook (also known as Grittenham Brook in places) has a relatively large catchment area split into two by the M4 and a culvert which, according to local farmers, has always been claimed to be undersized.

The catchment starts east and south of Wootton Basset and is also fed from , land south of the A3102 around the Wiltshire Golf Club plus most of the land south and east of Grittenham. When flow exceeds the capacity of the M4 culvert, levels rise until there is an overland flow to the west where it feeds into Dauntsey Brook.
