There are a number of different ways to share all your hard work. The following list is not exhaustive, but includes the most commonly used:

  • Save your layers as shapefiles and then give them to someone else.
  • Capture the whole or parts of the screen. This particularly useful for training documentation and websites like this one.
  • Save just the map part of the window. This is especially useful if you want to include a relatively small map in a document or report.
  • Create a map for printing or sharing as a PDF. QGIS supports creation of maps with a range of native sheet sizes (e.g. up to A0)... and you can obviously print them to whatever size you like.

Information on this site is copyright Dauntsey Parish Council Drainage Board. Most of the maps are based on Ordnance Survey OpenData and additionally covered by that licence.
