This flow starts northeast of Bradenstoke, flows under the B4069, past Park Farm, Waite Hill Farm and Bowd’s Farm before going under the railway in a 1.5 m diameter culvert. Drainage from the railway and fields to its north add to the flow before crossing Whitehill Lane just west of Trow Lane in a 0.75 m diameter culvert. In heavy rain, water backs up above (i.e. south of) Bowd’s Farm, so the 1.5 m culvert is filled. The culvert under Whitehill Lane has only 25% of the capacity of that upstream, so it is unsurprising that the road floods at this point. The houses at Hunters Hall regularly suffer garden and septic tank flooding.
This flow becomes one of the two main sources of Dauntsey Brook.
